ENGLISH FUNDAMENTALS

 

12-Weeks Course

Mondays 6-7:00PM

This course is designed for foreign students to advance from their basic English skills to overall development and concepts application of the English language; its background variations in words choices and dialogue platform.  The course will cover structural learning, grammar, pronunciation, tone, genres fluctuations of words transitioning to comprehensive vocabulary expansion facilitating students to speak, write and integrate into speaking English clearly and well.

PEDAGOGY OF PRONOUNCIATION

 

12-Weeks Course

Tuesdays 5:30-7:30PM

 

This course is designed to underscore the discrete features of cultural and native pronunciation patterns, the echoes of the the tongue, its instinctive tendencies and diction that often influence how receptive students are to a new set of language.  We will explore the collection of common universal words and how they facilitate easier pronunciation in English. Emphasis of this course is to enable flexibility, intonation, and attentiveness to the discrete rhythm and sounds of English words and apply them into practice.  Students will benefit greatly through interactive class participation, focus pronunciation practices to build speaking confidence.

VOCABULARY RETHORIC

 

12-Weeks Course

Wednesdays 6-8PM

 

This course offers the concepts of building vocabulary, one-on-one and group conversations to improve student’s confidence and speaking abilities both in academic and routine day-to-day setting.  Class participation will include students asking questions, leading discussions and contributing ideas, opinions on debating topics.  In-class assignments will include routine English words students will be expected to use in different communication topic contexts.  Weekly out-of-class assignments will be given to accelerate and increase time student spend speaking and thinking in English.

THE NOVEL OF FLUENCY

 

 

12-Weeks Course

Thursdays 5:30-7:30PM

 

This class will focus on  English speaking fluency with effective classroom interactions.  Students will be expected to make presentations and lead in selective topics discussions, offer contributing ideas and opinions.  This course will emphasize on students developing oral English fluency and listening skills in a variety of contexts: academic and everyday life through American colloquial and idiomatic functional use of the English language in practical scenarios including discussions presented in theme-based units.
